The Coppersmith’s house and the Carpenter’s House
The Museum of Central Finland’s Craftmen’s Houses are steeped in the spirt of the 1800’s. These museum buildings are the oldest homes of Jyväskylä still standing. They are a rare example of the old building methods from the period when Jyväskylä was founded in 1837. Stop by and listen to stories about the craftmen’s family lives, work and leisure pleasures.
